Overdraft Rules for Debit ATM Cards

Overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction and the transaction is paid.

When an Authorized/Approved ATM or Authorized/Approved everyday Debit Card Transaction is processed and paid that causes your account to be overdrawn there is a fee assessed.

First Star Bank does not pay non Authorized/Approved ATM or non Authorized/Approved everyday Debit Card Transaction.

Under our Authorized/Approved ATM or Authorized/Approved everyday Debit Card Transaction practice there is a fee of $35 for each transaction paid that result in an overdraft of your account.

Effective August 15, 2010 if you want First Star Bank to pay Authorized/Approved ATM or Authorized/Approved everyday Debit Card Transaction that result in an overdraft to your account please complete the authorization (OPT-IN) form below.
